Let's face it - Penn is a big place. 2,000 students a year, about 8,000 students overall. And that's just the undergrads! Sure you meet a lot of people, but it is difficult to find good friendships that will last a lifetime.

Tabard rush is meant to be a fun and interesting way to meet new people at Penn. You'll meet members of Tabard as well as interesting women considering Tabard. Regardless of whether you end up joining Tabard, we know that you'll make new friends and enjoy the process.

Tabard is a truly unique organization. As an independent social club, Tabard is organized outside the University of Pennsylvania Greek System. Just as the Greek System is not right for everyone, neither is Tabard. We encourage all women considering joining Tabard or a sorority to explore all options to determine which one is best for them. As Penn prides itself on the diversity of programs and on its 'revolutionary spirit,' we would certainly be disappointed if the University of Pennsylvania's Greek System felt otherwise about us!

Our first rush event for 2005-2006 is a Fall open house invitation to women to meet current members of Tabard and to learn more about the organization. Please watch for the Fall 2005 announcement in the Daily Pennsylvanian, or just email us now to request an invitation! We look forward to meeting Penn's next freshman class - the class of 2009.

Get involved. Give back. Rush Tabard!

What is the rush process like?
Other than the Open House, we keep each event a surprise until a day or two beforehand.
